Dear Apexians

As we all know about 3-5-10 policy, we need to implement it from 3rd semester and upcoming semesters (first semester).. For
that in BCIS, we have started to implement for fedora/solaris section (third semester).. To implement it properly, we have categorised students into four groups according to number of subjects to be cleared (or failed number of subjects)...

All subjects cleared. They are given motivation to continue this type of result and upgrade results.
1-2 subjects. This group needs to be counselled and can be upgraded to first group. Dipesh sir is counselling them to improve the results.
3-5 subjects. This group are now in danger zone. THis group of student need counselling and should be prevented to reach the lower groups. we are meeting the parents and students of this group. Students need to sign commitment letter for those who have not cleared 3 -4 subjects. Those students who have more than 4 subjects back, not only students but also parents need to sign the commitment letter.
Above 5 subjects: These group of students need special attention. These group of students either cannot complete the course or they need special commitment and attention.Students are asked to give decision whether to continue or drop the college. We along with Bhanu Sir is meeting the individual students and parents for this type of students and parents..

We have already informed all students about our category and policy. Some students have decided to discontinue the studies who have more than 7-8 back papers till now. Some are yet to decide and some are becoming more serious and planning how to go further in the studies...

Hoping to get comments or suggestions..
